Day 1 – Tour starting in Casablanca to Rabat

In the first day, our guide will meet you at the airport and you will have a short tour in Casablanca. You will see some of the important landmarks there before you head to Rabat.

The main icon there is the Hassan II Mosque. The mosque perched beside the sea and featuring the tallest minaret in the world (690 feet), it’s one of the only mosques in the country that allows non-Muslims to enter.

After visiting the mosque, you will travel to Rabat. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to get to know the driver who will be also your guide along the tour. Overnight at your Riad/Hotel in Rabat.

Day 2 – Traveling from Rabat to the blue city Chefchaouen

On the second day, you will discover Rabat before you head to Chefchaouen. You will visit the Roman and Islamic ruins, the 20th-century Andalusian Gardens, and Hassan Tower, a 12th-century minaret.

After that, you will travel to Chefchaouen. The ride will take up to 4 hours and you will be amazed by the majestic views along the way.

Chefchaouen constitutes one of the richest tourist attractions in Morocco. You will admire its magic and the beauty of its walls. This welcoming town situated in the middle of Rif Mountains just south of the Mediterranean coastline has attracted millions of Instagrammers all over the world. The city nicknamed recently as the Instagram city.

When you arrive at Chefchaouen, you will enjoy a walk in its sneaky roads and you visit its traditional market. Chefchaouen is a fantastic destination for photography with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains and blue walls. After walking and visiting the city, we will drop you of at your hotel.

Day 3 – Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

In the morning, you travel to Fes via the beautiful stretch of farmlands where olives, grain, vegetables, and grapes are grown. You will have multiple stops along the way to see the most important spots along the way.

You stop at Volubilis in Meknes to discover this ancient Rome capital. Volubilis was once one of the most important Roman cities. It was founded by Berber people in the 3rd century BC. After the fall of Carthage, the city became part of Mauretania. However, in 25 BC, the King Juba II was placed on the throne and began building his royal capital at Volubilis.

Despite his Berber ancestry, Juba was married to the daughter of Mark Antony and Cleopatra, and his tastes were distinctly Roman. The city’s public buildings (including a forum, a basilica and a triumphal arch) reflect the architectural styles of Roman cities across Europe.

In addition, you will visit the old city of Meknes which was established by Moulay Ismail. The city tour includes visiting the Medersa Bou Inania and the Bab Mansour, the Gateway to Moulay Ismail Palace. This leads us into the Henri es-Souani, the horses stable and granaries.

Day 4 – Fez City Tour

The 10 Days in Morocco Starting in Casablanca wouldn’ be a charming journey if you didn’t visit Fez. This city is special, unique, and believed to be the oldest living city in the world.

After breakfast, you will begin your visit with a local official guide. You will see artisans still produce handicraft icons using the 11th-century methods, you will see traditional shops like those in Aladdin, You will see exotic markets and unique items. Fes for sure will charm you.

You start your visit by the Royal Palace, then you move to discover the 9th-century Karouine mosque and University. You will visit also the tomb of the city founder “Moulay Idriss II”. In addition, you will walk in the sneaky narrow alleys of the city.

After lunch, you will continue your tour to visit the Najarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, you will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city as well as drinking the meant tee is some traditional caféses

Day 5 – You travel starting from Fez to Ziz Valley, and Merzouga

After the breakfast, you will travel to Merzouga starting from Fez. You drive through the Atlas Mountains crossing Ifrane to arrive to the cedar forests of Azrou where you stop to see wild monkeys. The amazing thing is that these monkeys are used to humans. If you travel with children, they will get crazy about this lol.

You will take pictures before you leave to the city of Midelt where you stop for lunch. Then, you continue your journey through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes. Later, you will arrive at a humble town called Rich; then; to Erfoud, known for fossil mining, where you stop to take pictures and talk to some locals.

When you get to Erfoud, you will start to smell the odor of the desert and you will see another face of Morocco, different from that of Casablanca and Fez.

In the evening, you arrive at Erg Chebbi, which is an extensive complex of sand dunes that shift and travel depending on the changing wind. After 15 minute drive, you get finally to Merzouga where you will find your camel driver waiting for you.

You ride your camels for almost 1 hour. The camels will take you to the middle of the desert where you will spend a night. On your way, you will see the most beautiful sunset in your life. the color of the sky mixes with the color of sands and give a wonderful sight.

Day 6 – traveling to Todra Georges starting from Merzouga

In this 10 Days in Morocco Starting in Casablanca, you will be invited to see the most charming sunrise in the world. You will wake up early in the morning to watch the spectacle of sunrise. The colors of the dunes combine with the play of shadows to make an awesome sight.

After that, you will enjoy a cup of tea. Next, you ride the camels again for another hour to take you back to the village of Merzouga. You meet your driver and start another fascinating journey.

You leave to the fortified village of Rissani in the Tafilalt region. Nestled at the edge of the Ziz Valley, Rissani is a traditional desert village, yet houses are impressive with the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sharif, the first ruler of the Alawite dynasty, which thrived here in the 17th century.

You head over the majestic Todra Gorges and past the eastern slopes of the Atlas Mountains to Tineghir Oasis, with its green valley of palms and local villages, before continuing on a scenic drive through the Dades Valley, also known as the ‘Valley of 1000 Kasbahs. Overnight in Dades valley.

Day 7 - Day trip from Merzouga to Marrakech

On the 7th day of the tour, you will visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that dates back to the 11th century. The village of Ait Ben Haddou is composed of so many Kasbahs that served in various Hollywood movies. Recently the Kasbah was used as a backdrop for the Game of Thrones, Yunkai or the city of slaves.

After lunch, you leave Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech via the twists and turns of Tizi N’tichka. The views from up there are spectacular. By the end of the day, you will arrive at Marrakech. Overnight at your Riad in Marrakech.

Day 8: Marrakech city tour

You will have a full day to discover this old exotic city. With our local guide, you will visit the Menara. Then you will cover all the other impressive sights like The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewelry.

After lunch, you can walk through the colorful souks and traditional shops of Marrakech. You can also enjoy a sunset drink from the terrace of a café overlooking the enchanting Jamaa El Fna Square. Overnight at your accommodation.

Day 9: Excursion to Essaouira.

After breakfast in your Riad, you will travel to Essaouira from Marrakesh. On the way you will be amazed by the view of goats climbing argan trees looking for Argan nuts. As the region is well known by Argan, you will visit some Women’s Cooperatives of Argan oil where they can teach you many things about the benefits of Argan; starting from culinary and cosmetics to medicines.

After that, you continue to Essaouira. You will start your visit by seeing the coastal ramparts where the Game of Thrones was shot. Beautiful and imposing pieces of history provide the city a majestic charm. In addition, the cannons also provide a wonderful look as they convey the best location for seaside sights.

Finally, we can customize this day based on your flight details. If you fly from Marrakech, then, we will travel back to Marrakesh in the same day.

However, if you fly from Casablanca, we will travel to Safi. After 2 hours, we will reach Safi and the driver will drop you off at your hotel/traditional Riad.

The next day, you travel from Safi Casablance. After 3 hours, you will be at Casablanca Airport.
