Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Marrakech, heading towards the majestic Atlas Mountains. As you wind your way through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the rugged mountain terrain, dotted with Berber villages perched on the hillsides. This marks the beginning of your 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, a journey filled with diverse landscapes and cultural experiences.

Your first stop will be the historic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its well-preserved kasbah. This ancient fortress has served as the backdrop for many famous films and TV series, including “Gladiator” and “Game of Thrones.” Take a leisurely stroll through the narrow alleys of the kasbah and soak in the history and culture that permeates this iconic location.

Continuing your journey, you’ll pass through Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Here, you can visit the impressive Taourirt Kasbah and explore the nearby **Atlas Studios**, the largest film studio in Africa. Atlas Studios has been the filming site for numerous Hollywood blockbusters, including “The Mummy,” “Lawrence of Arabia,” and “Kingdom of Heaven.” The studio offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of film production, and you can explore the sets and props that bring epic stories to life.

After a delightful lunch, you’ll continue your drive through the picturesque Valley of Roses and the  Skoura Oasis, known for its lush palm groves and traditional mud-brick kasbahs. As you approach Boumaln Dades, the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic, with towering rock formations and deep gorges. You’ll spend the night in Boumaln Dades, where you can relax and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner while marveling at the natural beauty that surrounds you. Day 2 :Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga desert

After breakfast, your journey continues deeper into Morocco’s captivating landscapes on the second day of your 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. The drive takes you through the stunning Todra Gorges, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the towering cliffs that rise dramatically from the valley floor. This natural wonder is a favorite spot for climbers and nature enthusiasts alike.

As you leave the gorges behind, the landscape gradually transitions into the vast, open plains of the desert. Along the way, you’ll pass through the towns of Tinejdad and Erfoud, known for their traditional crafts and bustling markets. In Erfoud, you can visit a local fossil workshop to learn about the region’s rich prehistoric past, where ancient marine life is preserved in stone.

In the afternoon, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara’s golden dunes. Here, you’ll meet your camel and embark on a magical camel trek into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes. As you ride across the soft sands, you’ll be mesmerized by the shifting colors of the desert as the sun sets over the horizon.

Your destination is a traditional Berber desert camp, where you’ll spend the night under the starlit sky.
